Dodic was killed in a car accident, on the first day of this year, an hour after midnight on the road Zabalj - Gospodjinci. A serious traffic accident occurred when Darko, driving a Ford vehicle, landed on the road, hit a pole and died on the spot.
Zabalj, December 13, 2018. The second memorial tournament in indoor soccer "Darko Dodic" was held in the organization of the Serbian Police Union, in memory of the tragically injured colleague Darko Dodic who lost his life on January 1st, 2018.
