These firefighters from several local departments learned to lean on each other and work together in various training drills and live fire exercises during the 160 hours of classwork it took to become Certified Volunteer Firefighters.

After completion of 160 hours of training, 24 firefighters from 8 local departments were given a formal graduation ceremony to honor their successful completion of the Alabama Volunteer Firefighters Certification Course.
