Haleyville Fire/Rescue is in the process of developing a regional training center on the grounds of the old North Sewer Treatment Plant. The Training Center has a 40 foot drill tower, classroom, smoke building and drafting pit for pump testing. Future plans for the training center include a burn pit, propane fire simulator, rope and confined space training areas. Members of the department have spent countless hours volunteering their time developing the center which is an ongoing work in progress.
